Expert Talk on “Machine Learning and its Applications”

The Department of Science and Humanities organized an insightful expert talk for the students of first-year engineering on the occasion of National Science Day 2025, on 28th February 2025. The distinguished speaker for the event was Dr. Shreyas Simu, Asst. Prof., Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda. The event aimed to introduce students to the fascinating world of machine learning, its concepts and its real-world applications.
Dr. Simu discussed the fundamentals of machine learning, including the different types of learning (supervised, unsupervised and reinforcement learning).
