DBCE ETC Team Bags 3rd Place In Paper Presentation At IEEE Lumini 2025, Bits Goa

DBCE ETC team made a mark at the prestigious IEEE Lumini 2025, securing third place in the Paper Presentation Competition held at BITS Pilani, Goa, on 15th and 16th March 2025. Represented by Ms. Sachi Krishna Bokade and Ms. Ackyshma Fernandes, under the guidance of Prof. Yeshudas Muttu and Prof. Flavia Leitao, the team presented their research on the “AI Armed Robot.” This project, developed through collaborative effort, features a 4-degree-of-freedom (DOF) robotic arm integrated with object detection algorithms, designed for precise pick-and-place operations. Leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) and computer vision, the research explores applications in industrial automation and military operations. The panel of judges commended the team for their technical expertise, clear presentation, and innovative approach.
