Robocom at Resonance 2025- GEC

The Robotics Club Robocom of Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda, under the guidance of Prof. Flavia Leitao, actively participated in Resonance—a technical extravaganza organized by the Department of Information Technology, Goa College of Engineering—on 27th March 2025.
The event featured an engaging lineup of robotics competitions such as RoboRace, RoboSoccer, RoboSumo, and Line Follower Robot, drawing participation from various engineering institutions.
Robocom made a strong presence in RoboRace with four teams led by Mazen, Clayne, Danely, and Tanish, respectively. In RoboSoccer, two teams represented the club under the leadership of Mazen and Preston. Additionally, Preston also participated in the RoboSumo event, showcasing his diverse technical capabilities.
Though our teams did not secure podium finishes in these segments, their commitment, teamwork, and passion for robotics stood out, leaving a lasting impression on judges and fellow participants alike. The experience proved to be a rich learning opportunity and a stepping stone towards future milestones.
Robocom’s standout performance came in the Line Follower Robot competition. The team led by Mazen Leitao secured a commendable 4th place. The duo of Vallan Mascarenhas and Merrill Dias claimed 1st place with an exceptional completion time of just 14 seconds, demonstrating both innovation and execution excellence. Team Phoenix followed as runners-up, clocking in at 25 seconds.
