DBCE Community Attends the Esteemed Inauguration of Eurostampa, Goa

The inauguration of Eurostampa India Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of the globally renowned Eurostampa Group (Italy), was held on 12^th June 2025 at the Verna Industrial Estate, Goa. The event marked a significant milestone in the industrial development of the state, symbolizing growing international investment and collaboration.

The ceremony was graced by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Goa, Dr. Pramod Sawant, who officially inaugurated the facility. Also present were Shri Mauvin Godinho, Industries Minister of Goa; Mr. Walter Ferrara, Consul General of Italy in Mumbai; Mr. Luciano Cillario, Founder and President of Eurostampa Group; Shri Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco, Chairman of GIDC and MLA; along with other esteemed dignitaries and industry leaders.

Representing the academic community were Fr. Ralin D’Souza, Rector, Fatorda Salesian Society; Fr. Kinley D’Cruz, former Director, Don Bosco College of Engineering (DBCE); Dr. Neena Panandikar, Principal, DBCE; Dr. Norman Dias, Training and Placement Officer; Ms. Avila Naik, former TPO & Officer In Charge Examinations; and Mr. Sachin Turi, Placement Faculty Coordinator, Mechanical Engineering.

DBCE has signed an MOU with Eurostampa that aims at fostering academic-industry collaboration, internships, and employment opportunities. As part of this growing partnership, 12 students from DBCE have already been recruited and trained by Eurostampa. Gratitude is extended to Mr. Gianmario, Mr. Giuseppe, and Mr. Gian Franco Cillario, sons of the Founder for their visionary leadership and Mr. Jean Paul Di Vita, Managing Director of Eurostampa India, for his support reflecting the company’s commitment to local talent and the strong industry-academia linkage fostered by the institution.
