Robocom Participates in Techyon 2024 at PCCE

The Robotics Club Robocom of Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda, under the mentorship of Prof. Flavia Leitao, enthusiastically participated in Techyon 2024, a technical event hosted by PCCE on 17th and 18th October 2024.

The club competed in three engaging events — Line Follower, Robo Racer, and Robo Soccer— showcasing strong technical skills, creativity, and teamwork.

In the Line Follower event, the team of Vallan Mascarenhas, Sherwin Dias, Sancha Gomes, Bibisifhat, Elivia Silva, and Kingel Fernandes impressed with their autonomous robot’s precision and advanced programming.

The Robo Racer challenge was tackled by Danely Gomes, Sandeep Sawant, Gretchen Pereira, and Mazen Leitao, whose bot demonstrated speed, agility, and smart engineering design under pressure.

In Robo Soccer, Preston D’Silva and Reuben Fernandes, guided by Mr. Maynard Rodrigues, stood out for their strategic coordination and control in a fast-paced competitive environment.

While the club didn’t bag any prizes, the enriching experience offered valuable insights into real-world problem-solving, collaboration, and innovation.
