Germinate It Competition by E-Cell

The E-Cell Council of Don Bosco College of Engineering organized Germinate It, a business idea competition for first-year pass-out E-Cell students on Saturday, 23rd August 2025. The event provided a platform for students to generate and present innovative business ideas with the potential to create a positive impact on society.
Participating teams brainstormed, researched, and designed business concepts addressing pressing issues, which were then pitched before an esteemed panel of judges comprising Prof. Amey Kerkar and Mr. Arush Martins. The judges offered valuable insights and constructive feedback that helped students refine their ideas and identify areas for future improvement.
The competition encouraged creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit while giving participants hands-on experience in pitching and presenting. Students also gained essential skills in teamwork, time management, and effective communication, applying theoretical knowledge in a practical and competitive environment.
The guidance and feedback from the judges proved instrumental in shaping the participants’ approach, instilling confidence and motivation to pursue entrepreneurial ventures. The event was successfully conducted under the mentorship of Prof. Amey Tilve and the coordination of Ms. Mathilda Colaco, with the support of student coordinators Soham Ambudkar and Shreeshant Upadhye.
