The session took place on Tuesday, 16 September 2025, and was conducted by Ms. Shweta A. G., Operations Assistant at Clerkswell.
This initiative aligns with the vision of United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education), which emphasizes inclusive, equitable, and lifelong learning opportunities, ensuring that learners are prepared for employability and personal growth. The session aimed to equip students with the essential knowledge and practical skills required to excel in job interviews, a critical step in the recruitment and career-building process. Ms. Shweta A. G., with her corporate experience and expertise, began the session by highlighting the importance of interviews in professional life. She explained that interviews are not merely a test of academic knowledge but a holistic assessment of a candidate’s personality, communication skills, problem-solving approach, and ability to adapt to workplace culture. By sharing her own experiences, she made the session relatable and engaging for the students. Throughout the session, Ms. Shweta maintained an interactive approach, encouraging students to share their doubts, experiences, and fears about facing interviews.
The session concluded with a vote of thanks expressing gratitude to Ms. Shweta A. G. for her time and valuable inputs. Students left the session with renewed confidence and a clear understanding of how to approach interviews strategically. The session was coordinated by Ms. Avila Naik, Event Coordinator; Dr. Norman Dias, TPO; and Dr. D S Vidhya, IQAC Coordinator and HOD, Electronics & Computer Science.
