Installation Ceremony of the DBCE Student Council 2025-26

Don Bosco College of Engineering organized the Installation Ceremony for the newly elected Student Council members for the academic year 2025-26 on 22^nd September 2025. The event marked a proud moment for the elected students as they were invested with responsibilities, embarking on their journey as leaders of the institution.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of Rector, Rev. Fr. Ralin De Souza, Director, Rev. Fr. Wilfred Fernandes, Administrator, Rev. Fr. Leo Pereira, Principal, Dr. Neena Panandikar, Registrar, Dr. Kala Nayak, along with the heads of departments, faculty coordinators, and section heads.

In her welcome address, Principal Dr. Neena Panandikar congratulated the newly elected council members and urged them to abide by the guidelines laid out in the student council handbook. Director, Rev. Fr. Wilfred Fernandes emphasized that leadership, in the Don Bosco way, is about service, integrity, and walking alongside peers. Rector, Rev. Fr. Ralin De Souza inspired the members with reflections on Don Bosco’s childhood dream, calling upon them to lead with humility, steadfastness, and kindness.

The council members were then presented with badges by the dignitaries and administered the oath of office by the Registrar, pledging to uphold the honor and values of the institution. Following this, the Cultural Secretary Mr. Sherwin Dias, Sports Secretary Mr. Cyrus Gomes, and Magazine Secretary Mr. Reuel Luis outlined their tentative plans for the year, while General Secretary Mr. Samruddha Patil delivered the Vote of Thanks.

The ceremony concluded with refreshments and a group photograph to mark the occasion.
