Valedictory Function of DBCE Tekfest 2025

The Valedictory Ceremony of DBCE Tekfest 2025, jointly organized by the Computer and Civil Engineering Departments of Don Bosco College of Engineering, marked the successful conclusion of the diverse technical and non-technical events conducted under INSPIRUS 9 and SANKRITI.

The program began with the arrival of the Chief Guest, Dr. S. K. Prasad, Professor and Head of the Civil Engineering Department at Vidhyavardhaka College of Engineering, Mysuru. The ceremony commenced with a presentation of highlights from the various competitions and activities held throughout the fest, creatively compiled by the organizing departments.

Mr. Garreth delivered the welcome address, extending warm greetings to the Chief Guest, faculty members, students, and participants from different departments. This was followed by an overview of the events under INSPIRUS 9 and SANKRITI, presented by Mr. Srinivas Inamdar (C-Codes) and Ms. Priya Maria Vales (CESA), who emphasized the enthusiastic participation and quality of organization displayed by the students.

Assistant Professor Genevieve introduced the Chief Guest, after which Dr. S. K. Prasad addressed the gathering. In his speech, he appreciated the collaborative efforts of the students and faculty in organizing a vibrant and inclusive fest, and highlighted the significance of such platforms in nurturing creativity, innovation, and teamwork among aspiring engineers.

The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Dr. Shwetha P., Head of the Civil Engineering Department, who expressed sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of DBCE Tekfest 2025. The ceremony also included participant feedback, where students shared their experiences and suggestions for future editions of the fest.

The function concluded with the prize distribution ceremony for the winners of SANKRITI and INSPIRUS 9, coordinated by Assistant Professors Shruti Jambhale and Christina. The event ended on a celebratory note, recognizing the achievements of the winners and marking a memorable conclusion to Tekfest 2025.
