DBCE E-Cell students visits DevFest 2025

A group of students from the Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell), Don Bosco College of Engineering (DBCE) attended DevFest 2025, organized by the Google Developers Group (GDG) Goa on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at the Panjim Convention Centre.
The event began at 8:30 AM with registration, high tea, and breakfast, followed by a welcome note by Ms. Sonali S. Gaonkar. The day featured a series of highly engaging and informative sessions focused on cutting-edge technologies in Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, and Web Development.
The morning sessions covered topics such as SEO and GEO integration, Open Source & AI in App Development, Gemini and Gemma On-Device Models, and AI Reasoning with Neo4j. A particularly interesting talk on Multi-Agent AI Systems by Ms. Mahauti Chandra Mohan and a session on Supercharging Kubernetes with AI highlighted the growing scope of AI orchestration.
After the lunch break, sessions resumed with discussions on India’s challenges in building AI systems, AI-powered Angular, Platform Engineering in the AI Era, and Humanising APIs for global scalability.
The event also featured a special session by Shri. Saikharman S. Gaonkar, Former Director of the Directorate of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Government of Goa, which inspired young entrepreneurs to embrace innovation and skill-based growth.
The day concluded with an Impact Award ceremony followed by closing notes from Shri. Prajyot Mainkar and the GDG Goa team.
Overall, the DevFest 2025 was an enlightening and interactive experience for the E-Cell students, offering valuable insights into the latest trends in AI, software engineering, and entrepreneurial innovation. It provided an excellent platform for networking with industry professionals and exploring the future of technology.
