Dr. Mohini Naik  Felicitated by Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Hubli

Dr. Mohini Naik, Assistant Professor, Department of Electronics and Computer Science, and Mentor of the BIS Standard Club (SC-7754) at Don Bosco College of Engineering, Goa, was felicitated by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Hubli Branch Office, for her active participation and outstanding contribution to Standard Club activities. The recognition was conferred during the BIS Stakeholders Conclave organized on the occasion of World Standards Day 2025, held on 9th October 2025 at Nanutel Hotel, Margao, Goa.

The event, themed “Standards for SDG-17: Partnerships for the Goals,” brought together stakeholders from industry, academia, research institutions, and government organizations. The BIS Student Club of Don Bosco College of Engineering (SC-7754) also received a token of appreciation for its enthusiastic involvement in promoting standards awareness and quality culture among students under Dr. Mohini Naik’s mentorship.

The conclave featured insightful sessions on the importance of standards in achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and strengthening collaborative partnerships between academia and industry for sustainable growth.
