Visit to International Purple Fest 2025 – A Journey of Empathy, Inclusion & Accessibility
A total of 41 students from first year ECS and Civil Engineering branches of Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda had the enriching opportunity to visit the International Purple Fest 2025, a celebration of inclusivity, accessibility, and the rights of persons with disabilities, held at ESG, Panaji on 10th October 2025.
During the visit, students explored various exhibitions showcasing assistive technologies, accessible art, inclusive education practices, and innovations designed to empower individuals with disabilities. The cultural performances, including music, dance, and theatre by differently-abled artists, left a lasting impression and highlighted the true spirit of inclusivity and resilience.
The visit proved to be a transformative experience for the students, fostering awareness, sensitivity, and a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by people with disabilities, as well as the strength of the human spirit in overcoming them.
