INEX 2025

The 10th edition of the India International Innovation and Invention Expo (INEX 2025) was hosted at Don Bosco College of Engineering on 13th, 14th and 15th November, transforming the campus into an international hub of creativity, technology and forward-thinking solutions. Organized by the Indian Innovators Association under the patronage of the Goa State Innovation Council and supported by academic and R&D partners, the two-day event brought together innovators, researchers, professionals, students and industry stakeholders from India and abroad.
The inauguration began with the lighting of the symbolic E-Lamp, representing technological enlightenment and modern innovation. Distinguished dignitaries in attendance included Professor Tomasz Klepka and Professor Tomasz Garbacz from Lublin University of Technology, Poland, Shri Jose Manuel Noronha (Chairman, Goa State Innovation Council), Dr A. S. Rao (President, Indian Innovators Association), Rev. Fr. Wilfred Fernandez (Director, DBCE), Dr. Neena Panandikar (Principal, DBCE), and representatives from IBS Poland. The launch of the Innovation Year Book 2025 marked a significant milestone, celebrating inventive contributions from across nations.
A key highlight of Day 2 was the panel discussion on “Innovation Life Cycle and IPR Management Among Universities & Young Innovators,” moderated by Mr. Raman Teja, CTO of IBS Global. The discussion emphasized the importance of structured development of research ideas, intellectual property awareness and the encouragement of innovation culture at university level.
The Valedictory function and Award Ceremony recognized outstanding contributions from various participants. Among the winners were several students from Don Bosco College of Engineering who excelled on a competitive platform that featured innovators from multiple institutions.
The winners from DBCE included:
• Sanil Mascarenhas (FE Mechanical)
• Mr. Alloysius Baptista and Mr. Loxley Dias
• Ms. Ariya and Ms. Aarti from FE Computer I
• Piyush from Computer II
• Two student groups from the higher semesters of the Computer Engineering Department
Their achievement reflects the growing culture of innovation and competence within the student community of DBCE.

INEX 2025 concluded with appreciation to all organizers, partners, jury members, student volunteers and participants. The event not only strengthened DBCE’s reputation as a center for engineering education but also reinforced its commitment to fostering innovation, interdisciplinary technical exchange and real-world problem solving.
