ROBOCOM Achieves Clean Sweep in Line Follower Robot Event at Techyon 2K25

The Robotics team of Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda, ROBOCOM, participated in the technical fest Techyon 2K25, held at Padre Conceição College of Engineering (PCCE) on 23rd and 24th October 2025. The fest saw participation from several engineering institutions and featured competitive technical events, including the Line Follower Robot (LFR) competition.

ROBOCOM delivered an exceptional performance in the LFR category and achieved a historic clean sweep by securing all three top positions. The first place was secured by Jeziah D’Souza, Vallan Mascarenhas, Mazen Leitao, and Zoe Zuzarth. The second place was secured by Mazen Leitao, Kingel Fernandes, Vallan Mascarenhas, Danely Gomes, and Gary Araujo. The third place was secured by Vallan Mascarenhas, Mazen Leitao, Ayyaz Khan, and Kingel Fernandes.

This achievement reflects the team’s strong technical proficiency, coordination, and consistent efforts in robotics design and execution.

The success of ROBOCOM is reinforced by the continuous encouragement and guidance provided by the institution. The team expresses sincere gratitude to the management of Don Bosco College of Engineering, the Principal, Dr. Neena Panandikar, and the Director, Rev. Fr. Wilfred Fernandes, for their continued support of technical and co-curricular initiatives. Special appreciation is extended to the ROBOCOM Club Coordinator, Prof. Flavia Leitao, whose mentorship and guidance were instrumental in the team’s success.

This accomplishment at Techyon 2K25 further strengthens ROBOCOM’s standing in intercollegiate technical competitions and sets a strong foundation for future achievements.
