Mr. Deron Rodrigues Presents Research Paper at MoSICom 2025, BITS Pilani Dubai

Mr. Deron Rodrigues, Assistant Professor in Electronics and Computer Science Department, DBCE, presented a research paper titled “Pilot Overhead Analysis of Intelligent Reflecting Surface-Assisted Multi-User Systems” at 4th IEEE International Conference on Modelling, Simulation, and Intelligent Computing (MoSICom 2025), organized by Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani – Dubai Campus in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The conference was held from 10–12 December 2025 and brought together researchers, academicians, and industry experts from different parts of the world to discuss recent developments in modelling, simulation, intelligent computing, and advanced communication technologies.
During the conference, Mr. Rodrigues presented his research work on Intelligent Reflecting Surface (IRS) assisted wireless communication systems, focusing on the analysis of pilot overhead required for channel estimation in multi-user environments. The study examined how the number of reflecting elements and users affects the training overhead and overall system efficiency, which is an important consideration in the design of next-generation wireless networks such as 6G.
The presentation provided an opportunity to share the research findings with the international academic community and receive valuable feedback from experts in the field.
