Inspiring young minds at Mahila & Nutan English High School

The Parent Teacher Association of Mahila & Nutan High School, Margao organized a seminar on “Career in Engineering” for 10th standard students on 16/04/2026. The resource persons were Dr. Ajit Salunke, Prof. Satyesh Kakodkar, Dr. Shreya Simu, and Prof. Viosha Cruz.

The speakers introduced students to core engineering disciplines such as Mechanical, Civil, Electronics, and Computer Engineering, along with their key domains and career opportunities. They also highlighted emerging trends including robotics, electric vehicles, 3D printing, green buildings, and smart manufacturing. In addition, they explained how technologies like the Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning are transforming modern industries, and discussed the evolving roles and opportunities for engineers in the era of Industry 4.0.
