DBCE signs MOU with CABE Springs and Fasteners India Private Limited

To strengthen the industry-academia collaboration, Don Bosco College of Engineering (DBCE) in Fatorda and CABE Springs and Fasteners India Private Limited, Verna signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on 14th May 2026. The event was facilitated by the Training and Placement Cell of DBCE, and coordinated by Dr. Norman Dais, Training & Placement Officer.
CABE India is part of the Belfin Group, an Italian company established in 1946 with a global presence spanning countries such as China, Russia, the UK, and others. CABE India began its operations in Goa in 2012 and specializes in the manufacturing of various types of springs, fasteners, and washing machine components for the Indian market. The company’s products are widely used across sectors including home appliances, automotive, electrical systems, agricultural equipment, and other manufacturing industries. CABE India serves reputed customers such as IFB Industries, Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals, and Godrej Enterprises Group.
The MOU was signed by Mr. Pietro Aldeghi, General Manager of Cabe Springs And Fasteners India Private Limited and Dr. Neena Panandikar, Principal, DBCE in presence of Ms. Arya Hegde, Executive- Human Resources & Procurement of the company and Dr. Suraj Marathe, Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department. The DBCE team was also represented by Dr. Norman Dais, along with faculty members from the Mechanical Department Dr. Ajit Salunke and Prof. Gaurish Samant.
The MoU focuses on internships, field visits, skill development programs, student projects, and other industry-oriented initiatives for the students of DBCE, thereby establishing a strong foundation for a long-term collaboration aimed at enhancing quality technical education.
