Report of Blood Donation Camp held on 1st September 2017 at Don Bosco College of Engineering

The NSS unit of Don Bosco college of Engineering, Fatorda in association with Blood Bank, Hospicio Hospital, Margao conducted a blood donation camp in the institute premises on 1st September 2017. An eight member team headed by Dr. Vasundhara Dessai visited the institute for the blood collection. Also present was Dr. Neena Panandikar, Principal and Prof. Harison Cota, NSS Programme Officer. Altogether 102 students and staff came forward to donate blood. However due to haemoglobin, pressure and other medical conditions, 32 could not donate. In all 70 students and staff donated blood and helped save many lives. This is the second blood donation camp conducted by the NSS unit in this year, the previous one being held on 17th February 2017.
