One Day Workshop on “AUTOCAD”

The DBCE Student’s Chapter of Institution of Engineers (India) organized a one day workshop on “AUTOCAD” in association with Institution of Engineers (India), Goa State Center and Department of Mechanical Engineering Department, DBCE for second year students of Mechanical engineering on 9th September 2017 in the college campus. In all 35 students attended the workshop.

The resource persons were Prof. Siddu Biradar and Prof. Manjunath Narwate. Students were introduced to the drafting software, the Graphical User Interface and basic drawing, dimensioning, geometric transformation and clipping commands. They practiced with simple 2 D engineering objects.
At the Valedictory function Certificates were distributed by Prof. Ajit Salunke, Head of Department- Mechanical Engineering, Prof. Sharad Shanbhag , faculty Coordinator, DBCE IEI chapter and the resource persons. The workshop was coordinated by Prof. Ramnath Prabhu.
