‘Inspirus 2k17-Make it happen’ is a national level intercollegiate technical and non-technical event, hosted for the very first time by the Department of Computer Engineering, in association with C-CODES, of Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda, Goa on 14th and 15th September.

Day 1 of Inspirus was a big success. The event was inaugurated, and Inspirus was declared open by Hon. Minister for IT, Revenue and Labor & Employment Shri. Rohan Khaunte. He had spoken about how technology is advancing at a very fast pace, and that it is our choice whether to stay back or move along with advancing technology.

The inaugural ceremony was also the installation of C-CODES student council for 2017-18.
The various events held on 14th September were Rubik’s Cube, Mindspark, Virtual Building, Virtual DJ, Framed and Designers’ Paradise.
The events held on 15th September were Hackathon, Geek’s Den, Edit Out and Clash Royale.
There was a workshop on 3D technology taken by Mr. Ryan Vaz, owner of Infinyt 3D, Verna.
Gaming events held were Counter Strike 1.6 and FIFA ’17.

Students from different colleges and higher secondary schools, from all over Goa had come to participate for the various events held. The event had an overwhelming response from students on both days.
The valedictory function, to end these two days of creative-technical extravaganza, was held on 15th September at 3pm. The Chief Guest for this function was Mr. Suhas Mallya, Executive Director at EMCO Goa Pvt. Ltd.
