Report of One week AutoCAD training for TE Civil students
A one week in house AutoCAD training was conducted for the Third Year Civil Engineering students of Don Bosco College of Engineering from 2nd to 6th July 2018.
For the first two days of the training basic tools in AutoCAD were taught to the students, followed by an course of using layer function which was conducted by Mr. Celestan Braganza, a Civil Engineer and expert in AutoCAD from the office of Shekhar Panandiker & Associates. In this course Mr. Celestan explained with a presentation the definition and properties of the layer command in AutoCAD. He also emphasized the importance of layer command in drawing architectural and electric drawings etc. The students also got hands on practice on the layer and block command.
The basic AutoCAD course for these interested students was conducted in their earlier semester by Asst. Prof. Nadya Baracho, Asst. Prof. Starina Dias and Asst. Prof. Kaushik Pai Fondekar.
