Goa IT Day

On the eve of Goa IT Day, two students of Computer Engineering from Don Bosco College of Engineering were honored. Mr. Akshay Saraf and Mr. Shubham Jha were selected as “Technical Wizkids” for their outstanding contribution in academics as well as extracurricular and technical skills in the IT field. The event was being held on July 14 and 15 in Panjim, and was inaugurated by Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar and Minister for Revenue, IT, Labour & Employment, Shri Rohan Khaunte. Globally acknowledged as the star on India’s tourist map, the state of Goa is now on a mission to showcase its other side– as the new favourite destination for IT companies. Goa IT Day is part of a focused initiative to promote innovation and encourage entrepreneurial investment in the state so that Goa can be counted among the top 25 startup destinations in Asia by 2025
