“Web Application Development using Industry Standard Coding” Workshop Report

Final year and third year computer engineering students attended a workshop on “Web Application Development using Industry Standard Coding” on 8^th September 2018 in Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda – Goa. The workshop was organized by C-CODES computer students association. A total of 20 students participated in the workshop. The resource faculty for the workshop was Mr Pranay Vernerkar, Senior Software Developer at Creative Capsule Pvt Ltd, Verna. The coordinator for the workshop was Prof Merwyn D’Souza.

The session began with Mr Pranay explaining “What the meaning of coding standards is”. He explained how these standards help define an open web platform that helps web designers/developers to create rich and interactive applications for the diverse range of devices.

This was followed by a practical session on examples of good coding practices in web application development.
