REPORT ON NPTEL CERTIFICATION COURSE ON “MANUFACTURING OF COMPOSITES”

Prof.  Swapnil Ramani from Department of Mechanical Engineering   participated in an 8 Week NPTEL Online Certification Course on Manufacturing of Composites , held from August to September  2018 Conducted by  IIT Kanpur.

The course covered  the important aspects of composites manufacturing: process selection guidelines, thermoset and thermoplastic Composites manufacturing processes, process parameters and characterizations. Applications and use of each manufacturing process was focused on and represented separately.

Prof. Swapnil  Ramani appeared in the top 2% of certified Candidates in the online certification exam  having a consolidated score of 87% and certified in the ELITE category .
