Practical Sessions conducted at Chowgule

The Mechanical Department of Don Bosco College of Engineering conducted a series of practical sessions at Maruti Suzuki service centre, Fatorda for the students who have opted for Automobile Engineering in their final year. The topics for practicals included:

• Study the working of IC engine and other automobile components
• Basic servicing of car
• Construction of the chassis
• Wheel alignment & wheel balancing
• Dismantling & Assembling of automobile brakes

The students learned the practical applications and working of the various components of an automobile. The General Manager of the service centre Mr. Govind Khandeparkar ensured the students gain the best knowledge from their plant. The works manager Mr. Gous Shaikh personally explained the latest technologies in automobile along with the other advisors. The students also got an insight of latest trends followed in engine maintenance & repairs. The sessions were organised by Prof. Saurabh Raikar.
