Report on “69th National Conference of IAOH OCCUCON 2019”

Prof. Kiran Waghmare presented a paper titled “NeuroRehabilitation with Brain Computer Interface for Industry Workers” in Proceedings of 69th National Conference of IAOH OCCUCON 2019 at Rajkot. The Theme of the Conference was “Achieving Vision Zero through Basic Occupational Health Services (BOHS)”.

The theme of the conference focuses on achievement of VISION ZERO which means, prevention & control of occupational illnesses, accidents and injuries at workplace especially in the informal sector and striving for zero injuries and illnesses in this sector in India. This campaign aims to integrate Occupational Health & Safety with wellbeing.

“69th National Conference of IAOH OCCUCON 2019)” is to provide a forum for young scientists, academicians, analysts, designers and practitioners from around the nation to interact, exchange ideas and establish relationships in the core as well as interdisciplinary areas of Agriculture Health and Safety, Industry Hazards, Human Factors and Ergonomics, Mental wellbeing at Workplace, Education and Training in OH including theoretical, analytical, computational and experimental aspects and product development besides setting directions for future growth.

The conference was organized by the AOH Jamnagar Branch at Rajkot, Gujrat for the duration from 9th Jan to 12th Jan 2019.The conference was inaugurated by Minister Mr Dilipkumar Viraji Thakor,Minister of Labour and Employment, Disaster Management, Devsthan, and Pilgrimage Development in the Government of Gujarat and chief guest Parimal, Member of Parliament from Jharkhand.
