Deep Learning Seminar (B.E Computer)

B.E Computer students attended a seminar on “Deep Learning”. It was organized by C-Codes Student Association along with the Computer Department on 9^th February 2019. The resource person for the workshop was Mr Saurabh Kanekar, Junior Research Fellow, Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda and Prof Amey Kerkar. The coordinator for the workshop was Prof. Merwyn D’Souza.

Mr Saurabh spoke on the following topics: Introduction to Deep Learning, Traditional programming versus machine learning, Types of machine learning, Structure & components of neural networks, Gradient Descent, Backprop, Different architectures of Deep Learning models, Tools & platforms and programming frameworks for developing such applications.

The session was concluded with an interactive question and answer session.
