Seminar on Career in Engineering

The Training & Placement Cell of Don Bosco College of Engineering organized Seminar on Career in Engineering as a Social Initiative towards Community Service for the students of Class X, XI and XII and their parents on 18 May 2019 at the institute. Principal, Dr. Neena Panandikar welcomed the students and their parents at Don Bosco College of Engineering and spoke about the initiatives and ingenuities taken up by the institute for the betterment of the students and society. Director, Rev. Fr. Kinley D’Cruz narrated the journey of Don Bosco worldwide and recounted the journey of growth of Salesian Society in Goa. He also briefed everyone about the plans of the institute. Prof. Roseline Fernandes, Training & Placement Officer provided inputs on the various branches in Engineering and the career openings in each engineering branch. She also highlighted the Job Placements of the institute. Mrs. Maya Lin Noronha, Counselling Psychologist provided insights to the parents on their role in career selection of their child. She encouraged the parents to be a support to their child and inspire them to do things they are interested. Prof. Roseline Fernandes thanked everyone for attending the seminar. The Institute and Department newsletters and information was displayed for the students and parents.
