QUIZ: Olympics down the ages 2020

S. S Dempo College of Commerce and Economics, Cujira Bambolim conducted a sports quiz on the theme ” Olympics down the ages 2020″ on 21/01/2020. The said quiz was an all Goa intercollegiate Quiz contest, which had participants from 22 colleges across Goa. The competition was held on the background of Scientific International Conference on Physical Education and Allied Sciences.

College deputed a 2 member team, comprising of Mr.Vaman Sankhalker and Mr.Babli Gawas from B.E Mechanical Class.

Out of the 22 colleges, only 6 teams made it to the finals which included DBCE, PCCE, Zantye College Bicholim, VM Salgaonkar College of Law, Sridora Caculo college and others.In the nail biting final, our college achieved the consolation places and were awarded with sports goodies and certificates.

It was a wonderful experience to our students; as yet again our students qualified and brought laurels to our institute. The students express their gratitude to the College, Principal Dr. Neena Panandikar, Director Rev. Father Kinley D’Cruz and Prof. Amey K. Shet Tilve for their encouragement and support.
