Regional Mentor of Change

Prof. Mohini Naik has been selected and appointed as the “Regional Mentor of Change”: Head of mentor of change programme for GOA state by NITI AYOG, GOVT. OF INDIA. After competitive rounds of selection and reviews, top 37 candidates have been identified all over INDIA.

Prof. Mohini Naik, was honoured and felicitated at the hands of Shri. Rajiv Kumar, Vice Chairman, Shri. Amitabh Kant, CEO & Dr. R Ramanan, Mission Director of the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) NITI AYOG on 31st January 2020 at NITI Ayog, New Delhi. She also attended one day training session organized by NITI. CEO, Shri Amitabh Kant, also launched the “GEMS OF MENTOR INDIA’S BOOK” a memoir of inspiring stories of AIM’s Mentors of change across India.

Atal Innovation Mission has set up one of the largest Mentoring networks in India called Mentor India from the professional and industry community who can mentor students at Atal Tinkering Lab and AIC Incubators / startups. Over 5000+ mentors have already registered and every operational ATL has already been allocated a mentor. A number of industry leaders and corporate organizations have volunteered to adopt ATLs/AICs in their vicinities to ensure close mentoring and success of these initiatives. AIM is also actively working on establishing collaborations with innovation systems and entities in other countries in APAC, Europe, UK, USA, Africa and Latin American Countries.

AIM is a flagship national Innovation initiative of the Prime Minister and the Government of India of India under the NITI Aayog (National Institution for Transforming India). AIM’s goals are to establish and promote a vibrant culture of innovation and entrepreneurship nationwide.
