Talk on Rights of women in India and Road safety

On 29th January 2020 students from Govind Ramnath Kare College of Law, Margao- Goa delivered a talk on Rights of women in India and Road safety. The session began with  creating awareness about various women’s rights under the Constitution of India mainly: equality, dignity, and freedom from discrimination. Additionally, India has various statutes governing the rights of women. They also spoke about the importance to be aware that road traffic injuries remain an important public health problem. When road safety products are utilized correctly or efficiently, they can help save lives, prevent accidents and injuries, and keep a society functioning in the most optimal way. The talk was attended by students from First year mechanical and civil engineering branches.
