Report on One week Online Students/Professionals/Faculty Development Program on Quantum Geographic Information System(QGIS)

Civil Engineering Department of Don Bosco College of Engineering organized an Online Students/Professionals/Faculty Development Program on Quantum Geographic Information System (QGIS) in association with Spoken Tutorial Project IIT, Bombay from  June 1-5, 2020.

The convener for the program was Dr. Shwetha Prasanna, HOD, and coordinators for the program were Asst. Prof. Swaroopa Sail, Asst. Prof. Nadya Baracho, Asst. Prof. Kaushik Pai Fondekar and Asst. Prof. Akshata A.S Kudchadker . The total number of participants enrolled for the program was 1414. The participants included Students, professionals and faculty from various states of India and other countries like UAE, Germany, Ethiopia, Nigeria and Malaysia.

The program spanned over a period of 5 days. The participants were disseminated 3 new videos on the topic of QGIS each day and they had to answer a quiz based on these 3 videos. Participation certificate was issued to participants who successfully completed the program within the assigned duration. Additional certificate were issued to participants who scored full marks in all the quizzes.
