State Level Elocution competition by Goa shipyard Limited

Goa Shipyard Limited organized a state-level Elocution competition as a part of vigilance awareness week from  October 27 – November 7, 2020 for the students of different colleges across Goa. The topic was “Vigilant India, Prosperous India”. As the competition was conducted online, two students from Don Bosco college of Engineering participated in the same (Rea Saramaria DSouza, SE Computer & Declan Luis, TE Civil).

Mr.Declan Luis secured the Third place for Elocution competition . The valedictory function was held via Google meet. It was graced by the authorities of Goa shipyard Limited and all the participants who had won the different competitions organized by GSL. Mr Lochan Kanekar welcomed the session. The different competitions were organized prior to the vigilance awareness week via virtual mode. The competitions included essay writing for 9th and 10th standard students in English and Hindi, Elocution competition for college students in English and Hindi & Essay writing and poster making competition for the employees of GSL. The CMD of GSL enlightened the importance of vigilance in day to day life and at workplace. Mr Lochan then announced the winners of all the competitions that were held.
