Report on Problem solving and Ideation

The webinar on Problem solving and ideation was held on November 20, 2020, which began with a welcome address and introduction of speaker- Mr. Abhay Valsangkar, by Mr. Leon D’Souza.

Mr. Abhay Valsangkar made an introductory remark citing the phrase from the movie 3 idiots “mera beta engineer banega” he then went on to explain a question asked in the IIT Entrance exam wherein the candidates felt that the answer could not possibly be a simple one, when  in fact it was a simple answer.

He went on to add that the same applies to innovators who think easy solutions cannot be innovations.

He also took the audience through his life journey and went on to say that if he was offered an opportunity to handle any responsibility in college days and he was asked to do a job for the first time, he took it up as a challenge to do it and learn.

To sum up what Mr Abhay had to say “learn and think of simple solutions”.

The questions posed by Participants were answered by the speaker.
