Webinar on Effective techniques of writing research proposal and research paper

On behalf of R&D cell of Don Bosco College of Engineering, a webinar on  Effective techniques of writing research proposal and research paper was conducted in department of computer engineering on 5^th December 2020. Webinar is well received by all faculty membes of computer department. Dr. Gaurang S. Patkar and Dr. Vivek V. jog discussed on various do’s and Don’ts while dealing with writing research related content with the intention of getting recognition from reputed publication houses like IEEE, Springer, Elsevier, ACM..etc.

In the first session, Dr.Vivek discussed the importance of proving merit of problem statement before jumping on to the solution. He also narrated different approaches of doing gap analysis that forms the basis of the future research. In the second session Dr. Gaurang focused on different ways of writing research paper considering the different standard journals. He gave some important tips on different open source tools that can be used to support effective paper writing. Deriving formulas and equations while working on mathematical model was the key highlight of his session.
