Felicitation of DBCE students at World Youth Skills Day Function

The management and staff of Don Bosco College of Engineering, Goa takes immense pride in our students Ms Benecia Colaco (BE Mechanical), Mr. Aditya Patil (BE Civil) and Mr. Harish Kamanache (BE Civil) felicitated at the World Youth Skills Day organized by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Goa on Wednesday, July 14, 2021. Ms Benecia Colaco was felicitated by Hon. Chief Minister of Goa, Dr Pramod Sawant in the presence of Chief Guest, Dr Anil Sahasrabudhe, Chairman AICTE; Dr. Vivek Kamat, Director, DTE Goa and other dignitaries on the dais. She is one among few Graduate Engineer Trainee selected by CEAT Specialty Tyres India in Supply Chain function with a package of 6 lakhs per annum. The event was an attempt to build a roadmap to the development of technical manpower in the state of Goa to cater to different Industry skillsets. In this event the company officials handed over Offer Letters to respective students from Engineering colleges in Goa selected through campus placements. Mr Ravi Mondal, Project In-Charge SK Constructions Delhi handed over the offer letter to Mr. Aditya Patil. The event was attended by Dr Neena Panandikar (Principal), Dr Shreyas Simu (Asst TPO), Mr Jeffrey Valadares (Placement Coordinator-Civil) and Mr Sachin Turi (Placement Coordinator-Mechanical) from Don Bosco College of Engineering.

Ms Benecia Colaco through her academic zeal and deep interests in core mechanical area cracked the interview process held by the CEAT Recruitment Team exclusive for mechanical students of DBCE. The placement process was coordinated by Ms Avila Naik, TPO, DBCE and Mr Sachin Turi.
