Independence DAY 2021
Don Bosco College of Engineering celebrated the 75th Independence Day of India in the college premises on August 15, 2021. This short ceremony started at 8:45 AM in the presence of the Rector – Rev. Fr. Paul D’Souza, who unfurled the National Flag. All the staff members of Don Bosco College of Engineering sang the National Anthem and showed their respect to the national flag and to the whole nation. The ceremony was held while maintaining all the rules & regulations of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Present on the occasion was Director – Rev. Fr. Kinley D’Cruz, Administrator – Rev. Fr. Ralin De Souza, and D.S. Prashant – CEO FiiRE. Principal – Dr. Neena S. P. Panandikar welcomed the teaching as well as non-teaching staff. Fr. Paul D’Souza addressed the whole gathering and wished all a very happy Independence Day. “Every single citizen of India should abide by the rights given to them as stated in the constitution of India. Although we are in 75th year of Independence, we still need to be independent in many aspects” said Fr. Paul D’Souza. The function was headed by Dr. Avertano Barretto, Director of Physical Education & Sports, Don Bosco College of Engineering and he also proposed the vote of thanks.
