Report on “e-Symposium on Building Innovation and Entrepreneurial Ecosystem in Educational Institutions” on 11th Jan 2022

Under the Institution’s Innovation Council as MIC Driven Activity for Quarter 2, the faculty and students of Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda attended the online “e-Symposium on Building Innovation and Entrepreneurial Ecosystem in Educational Institutions” on  Jan 11, 2022, as part of the ‘National Innovation Week’, Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM) celebration from 10^th – 16^th Jan 2022, organized by the Ministry of Education, AICTE, and Ministry of Commerce and Industry (DPIIT) in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India.

The innovation week celebration commenced on January 10, 2022 and was inaugurated by Minister of Commerce and Industry – Mr. Piyush Goyal and opened the E- exhibition in which 75 innovation technology participated. On the January 11, 2022, e-Symposium on Building Innovation and Entrepreneurial Ecosystem in Educational Institutions was inaugurated by Minister of State for Ministry of Education and Ministry of External Affairs – Dr. Rajkumar Ranjan Singh and the Welcome Address was presented by, Dr. Anil Sahstrabhudhe, Chairman, AICTE. Shri Sridhar Vembu and Shri. Gautam, Founder, FarEye Pvt. Ltd were invited to give the Keynote Address. Panel Discussion on Innovation, Human Values, & Sustainability and Best Innovation and Start-up Practices in HEIs were held. More than 30 faculty and students of DBCE actively participated in these events.
