Overseas Education

Training & Placement Cell of Don Bosco College of Engineering, Goa organized a Talk on Overseas Education for the students of Don Bosco College of Engineering on Thursday, March 24, 2022. The event was hosted by Dr. Shreyas Simu, Asst. TPO.

Mr. Anoy Sengupta, Manager – Business Development, IDP Education was the speaker for the session. He was accompanied by Ms. Unaiza Mulla, Head –Sales and Operations, IDP education. Mr. Anoy had a very interactive session with students. He presented to them the details of education opportunities in 5 countries, viz. Canada, US, UK, Australia and New Zealand. While explaining the importance of overseas education he said “Main reason why everyone goes abroad for education is money that they will earn later”. Ms. Unaiza contributed to the session with her insights on studies abroad and said “Studies abroad is not just about your course, it’s about your overall development”.

Students had many questions about finances involved and the best universities to study abroad. The vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Shreyas Simu, Asst. TPO. The event was coordinated by Dr. Shreyas Simu and Ms. Avila Naik, TPO.
