The Installation Ceremony of the Newly Elected Student Council 2021-22

Don Bosco College of Engineering- Fatorda always strives to inculcate a sense ofresponsibility and commitment among the students with their heads held high, ready to shoulder responsibilities as leaders. An investiture ceremony was organized on April 9, 2022 for the newly elected council members of the academic year 2021-2022.

The newly elected Student Council members were administered the oath by the Student Council Election Officer Mr. Harison Cota, in which they pledged to work earnestly and uphold the honor and glory of the institution while receiving their prestigious badges from the Director- Rev. Fr. Kinley D’Cruz, Principal- Dr. Neena Panandikar, the Heads of Department of Science and Humanities, Electronic And Telecommunication and Mechanical Engineering.

It was a proud moment for the elected students being invested with great responsibilities while embarking on a new journey as leaders. The Principal congratulated the student council and wished them the very best as leaders. She also thanked the Student Council Election Officer Mr. Harison Cota for a well-organized ceremony.

The Cultural Secretary- Mr. Gul Ahmed Shaik, the Magazine Secretary- Mr. Keenan Cardozo and the Sports Secretary- Mr. Veron Dias spoke a few words followed by a speech and Vote of Thanks by the General Secretary – Mr. Reev D’Souza. The ceremony concluded with refreshments and a formal photograph. The ceremony was compered by Mrs. Maya Lin Noronha, a member of the cultural committee.
