Procyon 2022

Procyon 2022, at Don Bosco College of Engineering-Fatorda began with the Inaugural ceremony graced by the Chief Guest – Shri Subhash PhalDessai – Minister for Social Welfare-Goa, Guest of Honour- Mr. Mark Revlon , Special Invitee- Headmaster- Miracles High School- Mr. Filastro Cardoso, Director- Rev. Fr. Kinley D’cruz , Principal-Dr. Neena Panandikar, Administrator – Rev. Fr. Leo Pereira, CEO – FiiRE- D.S. Prashant, Cultural Secretary-Mr. Gul Ahmed and General Secretary- Mr. Reev D’souza  

To begin with the events of Procyon 2022, the audience were mesmerized by the voice of Mr. Mark Revlon who sang a beautiful konkani song , composed by Reginald Fernandes.

The students and staff at Don Bosco College of Engineering (DBCE) witnessed 2 days of exciting, energetic and enthralling performances on stage on the May 26-27 , 2022. Talent was seen at its peak amidst the students and staff. Cheering , applauding , tapping to the beat of music was the scene within the premises of DBCE. The off stage events showcased art in various areas and had the judges completely mesmerized at what the students brought before them.

The various events in which students and staff exhibited their genius were as follows: Ghumat Aarti, Skit, Battle of Bands, Step up Revolution, Street Play, Rock the ramp, The voice, Hoist the Banner, Food Wizard, Art of colours, Mad-Lipz, Reel Life, Garage Band, Mr. & Ms. Procyon, Treasure Hunt, Face Painting, Artificial Jewellery, Framed, Slow Mo.

The judges witnessed an overabundance of knack, touch and flair in every competitor on stage and every team brought forward their own set of skills that challenged every other team.

Procyon 2022 concluded with students tapping and hopping to DJ music. And at the end of it all, it was simply thrilling to see eager faces that questioned “who will be taking away the Procyon 2022 trophy?” This would only be answered on the Annual Day at Ravindra Bhavan on May 29, 2022.
