INDEPENDENCE DAY 2022

Don Bosco College of Engineering celebrated the 76th Independence Day of India in the college premises on August 15, 2022. This ceremony started at 8:45 AM in the presence of the Rector – Rev. Fr. Ralin De Souza, who hoisted the Indian National Flag. All the staff members of Don Bosco College of Engineering sang the National Anthem and showed their respect to the national flag and to the nation. Navin, Hitendra & Jayden, students from second year Computer Engineering sang a patriotic song which invoked feeling of patriotism among each one present for the ceremony.

Director – Rev. Fr. Kinley D’Cruz, Administrator – Rev. Fr. Leo Periera, D.S. Prashant – CEO FiiRE, Registrar Dr. Kala Nayak and Principal – Dr. Neena S. P. Panandikar were present for the function. Dr. Neena Panandikar welcomed the teaching as well as non-teaching staff. Chief Guest of the function Rev. Fr.Ralin De Souza was introduced by Miss. Nitya Pai, second year Computer Engineering student. Fr. Ralin De Souza addressed the whole gathering and wished all a very happy Independence Day. In his speech he read some quotes uttered by some of the great leaders and said “everyone should have a positive attitude in life”. He further stated that “we need to have a vision in life to make our dreams come true”.

The function was headed by Dr. Avertano Barretto, Director of Physical Education & Sports, Don Bosco College of Engineering. The function concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Asst. Prof. Jonessa Ferrao. The entire event was compered by second year Computer Engineering student Mr. Vadiraj Inamdar.
