Teachers Day 2022

Don Bosco College of Engineering (DBCE) celebrated Teacher’s Day with great joy on September 5, 2022. The function was organized by the cultural committee headed by Prof. Amey K. Shet Tilve, Counseling cell and the students. The celebration commenced with a march guided by the Director – Rev. Father Kinley D’Cruz and Principal – Dr. Neena Panandikar.  The Teachers who completed a decade in the college were felicitated with a token of appreciation.

Dr. Neena Panandikar welcomed the gathering and wished all teaching as well as non-teaching fraternity for what they do for the college. In his address Rev. Fr. Kinley D’cruz mentioned that “Values imparted by John Bosco as a teacher should not be forgotten, and we should value and implement them”, Rev. Fr. Ralin DeSouza also stated that there is a need to impart values in students.  

Stand-up comedian Mr. Agnelo Rebello was the main attraction of the celebration who entertained everyone with his humor. A dance performance was showcased by the students of department of  computer engineering headed by Rohan Raikar. There were lots of games and spot prizes. Mementos were presented to all the members of the DBCE family and the function concluded with the vote of thanks, proposed by Prof. Amey K. Shet Tilve.
