AI Under Attack: Exploring the Security Risks in Deep Learning Algorithms

On 18th March 2025, Don Bosco College of Engineering in association with Binghamton University, NY organised a seminar on “AI under Attack”. The session was delivered by Dr. Adnan Raikin, a personality with extensive experience in AI, at the forefront of AI innovation. He spoke about challenges of practical AI Applications and gave an overview of Deep Neural networks deployed on Edge devices. He introduced attendees to the concept of a hardware threat model and talked about ways to evaluate and address potential security risks/vulnerabilities. Attendees responded by asking him questions about the same. The session was conducted as a part of the MOU with Binghamton University, NY and was coordinated by Asst. Prof. Christina Barretto.
