Following the inaugural ceremony, the competitions kicked off with Eureka, where students received their topics just two hours before their presentations. Despite the tight timeframe, participants effectively utilized those two hours to develop and present their concepts, impressively addressing the judges’ questions.
Simultaneously, the Pitch It competition unfolded—an angel investing event where participants pitched their ideas to a panel. They were evaluated on various criteria, including the problem statement, solution, market analysis, and future prospects. Another event, Bizz Wizz, tested participants’ knowledge in entrepreneurship, economics, and general awareness through a challenging quiz format. Additionally, Business to Brand featured participants from multiple colleges, each preparing a comprehensive case study on a chosen company, analyzing its marketing strategies, products, and future potential.
To engage with the online landscape, Brandwave was organized, requiring participants to create promotional videos for any product of their choice. Judges assessed the entries based on creativity, editing quality, sound, and effective product placement. Participants genuinely appreciated the opportunity to showcase their talents and skills.
The winners were recognized during the valedictory function, where they received accolades from the Chief Guest, Mr. Akilesh Narayanan, a certified NLP trainer, ICF coach, and international speaker. In his speech, he highlighted that “entrepreneurship is a powerful path for personal development.” He also emphasized the importance of prioritizing who you work with over what you do, as the right people can drive success. Additionally, he encouraged aiming for ambitious goals while remaining flexible with outcomes, stressing that adaptability is key to progress. Lastly, he pointed out that the quality of products and services depends on the questions asked of customers, as meaningful inquiries can lead to significant improvements and heightened satisfaction. Mr. Narayanan commended the college for organizing such valuable events for the students.
