Awareness on Cyber Crime

DBCE ACM Student Chapter and Unnat Bharat Abhiyan committee delivered a session on  awareness in “Cyber Crime” for the students of Government High School – Ponda Goa on February 20, 2023. Dr. Gaurang S Patkar, Associate Professor, Computer Engineering, Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda was the Resource Speaker. He addressed the issue of strategic prevention of cybercrime with the key focus on the measures to prevent cybercrime related to children and teenagers. The primary tool for such prevention is undoubtedly education aimed at establishing greater awareness and knowledge regarding illegal Internet content and cybercrime among children and teenagers, as well as parents and educators.
