Converge 2.0 Institute Industry Interaction

The TIP Cell and IIC of Don Bosco College of Engineering organized Converge 2.0, in association with Directorate of Higher Eduction  and Goa State Higher Education Council featuring a hands-on JavaScript and AngularJS workshop, an expert talk on AR/VR technologies, and a CNC Mastercam training session. The AngularJS workshop offered a clear and practical introduction to web development concepts like data binding, directives, and components. The instructor was engaging, and students appreciated the hands-on coding activities. The AR/VR session gave students a real-world view of immersive technologies, their industry applications, and career opportunities, especially through live VR demos. The CNC workshop provided practical exposure to G-code generation, 5-axis machining, and production drawing interpretation, led by expert Mr. Jolan Dcosta. Students valued the real-world insights and skill-building experience. The event was well-organized, interactive, and aligned with IIC’s mission to foster innovation. The organizing team included Dr. Norman Dias, Dr. Shreyas Simu, and IIC coordinators from various departments, whose collective efforts ensured the success of the event.
