DBCE Alumni Meet 2025

The Annual Alumni Meet of Don Bosco College of Engineering took place on 25th January 2025, bringing together former students for a delightful day of nostalgia, connection, and celebration. While the alumni meet is an annual tradition, this year marked the official formation of the DBCE Alumni Association, which will operate for the next 3 years to strengthen bonds between past, present, and future generations of DBCE.

His words underscored the significance of staying connected to one’s alma mater.

She spoke about the impact DBCE had on her life and encouraged everyone to contribute to the association’s growth. She left the audience inspired with a quote from Don Bosco: “Do your ordinary duty extraordinarily well.”
The Vice President of the Alumni Association presented the vision, mission, and shared the association’s three-year roadmap:
Year 1: Building the foundation by creating a comprehensive database of all alumni and offering academic and career mentorship to current students.
Year 2: Organizing hackathons, skill workshops, and tech competitions to provide students with practical exposure and insights into the industry.
Year 3: Focusing on sustained impact and collaboration, including assisting students with placements and fostering ongoing engagement between alumni and the institution.
He encouraged alumni to provide suggestions on enhancing the association’s initiatives, leading to an engaging discussion with valuable inputs from attendees..
Mr. Selvyn Fernandes then delivered the vote of thanks, wishing the alumni success in their endeavours. He expressed gratitude to the committee members for their dedication and specifically acknowledged Mrs. Trima firzado for her significant contributions to the event’s success and also thanked everyone working behind the scenes and urged alumni to share their stories and journeys, emphasizing the shared experiences that unite the community.
After the formal sessions, the alumni, along with Rev. Fr. Kinley, Department Heads, the Registrar and the Principal, participated in a joyful cake-cutting ceremony. This was followed by a delicious buffet of snacks and refreshments, providing a perfect opportunity for alumni to reconnect and reminisce about their college days.
