DBCE MecHeads Group conducts Robotics Workshop at S. S Samiti’s Smt. I.V.B. Dhavalikar High School

“MecHeads“ under the banner of Mechanical Engineers Students Hub ( MESH) of Don Bosco Collage of Engineering ,Fatorda organized a one day workshop on “ Introduction to Robotics and Empowering Youth”  in collaboration with JCI Vasco on 2nd February 2019 at S. S Samiti’s Smt. I.V.B. Dhavalikar High School, Dhavali, Ponda. The program was inaugurated by the Headmaster, Mr. S. V. Desai.

The students were introduced to Robotics with hands on experience on identifying various electro-mechanical components, assembling them and making a line follower robot. Later activity oriented sessions were taken on “Leadership and Creativity The students members of the group, Akhil Kuppasad, Mark Gonsalves, Tejas Pandit, Anuj Dhond, Rohit Prabhu, Shaunak Paradkar, Rohan Naik Borkar, Sankalp Amonkar and Bahar Phadte were the resource persons.  They were guided by Prof Ishan Kosambe, faculty Coordinator, MecHeads and Prof Ajit Salunke, HOD, Mechanical Engineering Department, DBCE.

The students are thankful to Fr. Kinley D’ Cruz, Director, DBCE and Dr. Neena S. Panandikar, Principal, DBCE. On the occasion of World Integrity Day, students took Integrity oath.
