DBCE Student Featured in India Book of Records 2026

Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda, proudly congratulates Mr. Yash Sawant, a Third Year Civil Engineering student, on his remarkable achievement of being featured in the India Book of Records 2026.

Mr. Sawant accomplished this feat by successfully completing a solo scooter journey from Goa to Ladakh and back, covering a distance of over 7000 km across 12 states in a span of just 22 days. What makes this achievement particularly noteworthy is that the entire journey was completed on a Suzuki Access 125, demonstrating exceptional determination, endurance, and planning.

The journey required navigating diverse terrains, extreme weather conditions, and long hours of travel, reflecting Mr. Sawant’s resilience, mental strength, and spirit of adventure. His achievement stands as an inspiring example for students, showcasing how passion and perseverance can lead to extraordinary accomplishments beyond academics.
